This is an absolutely amazing giveaway! I have been battling stage 4 colon cancer since 2019, and joined the sourdough journey (after many years of being scared to try) back in 2024, and it’s the ONLY bread I can keep eating during chemotherapy without any weird tastes or nausea!!!!
I’m hoping I win, I love the recipes and my sourdough bread never comes out.. the recipes are easy enough, but my results are not as good as yours 🙁

How EXCITING! I’ve been wanting to start a sourdough starter and bread making journey for a while now. I have been testing & researching the artistry of baking, because I live on a mountain! So there’s a science & math situation going on. Having both or either one of these essentials for baking would be fantastic! I was forced to retire from cooking, due to health issues, and baking has always been intimidating to me. I have been studying this process, & having so much fun! I love all the info, and suggestions on baking from all of your posts! I have been learning so much!

If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again! I don’t know how many times my mother said to that when I was a little girl. But I’ve never forgotten it so I keep trying. I know I’m getting better, but I never get air bubbles in the crumb. I even got some litmus paper to check the acidity of my starter. Dang it, I’m gonna get it right. If I don’t go bankrupt first.😀😀😀
Karen, I feel you girl….. I’m in the same boat… Just like my garden, it took 3 years before i could even keep the drought resistant plants alive. But I never gave up.. The end results are greater… Keep pushing on and so will I
