How to Make Sourdough Croutons

Ingredients & Instructions
- 1/2 loaf stale sourdough bread, cut into small pieces
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup olive oil, enough to coat the bread without it pooling in the bottom of the bowl
- Seasonings of choice – I love using salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, but dried herbs like thyme, rosemary, or Italian seasoning work great too!

Oven Method:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the sourdough bread into small, bite-sized pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the bread pieces with olive oil and your chosen seasonings until evenly coated.
- Spread the coated bread pieces on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 15 minutes, tossing halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool completely before storing.

Air Fryer Method:
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the bread into small cubes and toss with olive oil and seasonings.
- Spread in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 7-8 minutes, shaking the basket every couple minutes, until crispy and golden brown.
- Let cool before storing.
Storage Recommendations
